It's been a long while since Questeros was shipped out. I hope those of you who ordered the deck have enjoyed it at least a few times, be it for a competitive game, a solo adventure, or a tarot deck. I still love pulling out the deck once in a while and just looking at the wonderful art John De Campos poured his talent into.
That artist has been busy publishing his own games, which he also creates the art for. His most recent game, called Black Mold, is live on Kickstarter for just a few more days. Check out some of the game info below, or head over to his campaign to see the full details.
Would love to see a few of the Questeros backers support John and his game, looks like a really unique take on turn length and player interaction (and deception).

That's right! Every backer should have their game(s) by now, across the globe. This includes any add-ons for DIE in the Dungeon, Deck-O-Dice, Duel of the Dragons, and Legends of Novus. If you did not get your game or add-ons, please email [email protected] to resolve. For the Kickstarter bonus pack, I am still waiting on shipments from China to begin sending these out.

I had been working on other game ideas, and a game expansion, but neither of those have gone far yet due to varying circumstances. Instead we are going to try something different (seems to be the norm for FunDaMental Games to keep trying new games/ideas)... a Game Book. If you have ever read/played gamebooks such as the Fighting Fantasy series, or Lone Wolf, then you know what I am referring to.
Wes is currently over halfway finished the design/layout of a gamebook (including the entry writing) and also doing the artwork. This is a true "solo" indie project, from start to finish. Its a lot of work, but also quite an interesting way to spend free time. Below are some examples from the test book I ordered in, had to ensure the formatting and layout was going to work (and it does!)...

Due to the time it will take to reproduce and reship the KS bonus materials for USA/CAN backers... I am going to arrange to ship all games owed immediately. This is being done via Bridge Distribution, and shipping has already begun!
This means all USA and Canada games should arrive to you by mid November depending on your location. Tracking info will be automatically emailed to your KS email, if you do not see it please look in the spam folder as sometimes these emails get flagged that way.
Bonus materials will be shipped at a later date, to be determined. Trust that these will get to you, but I wanted to ensure you had the base game before the holiday season (whether for playing/reading or for gift giving).

Whats next for FunDaMental Games?
Well, I am the sole worker for this little game company. I've been managing all aspects of the business for a few years now, through some ups and downs. Given the expensive nature of shipping and creating games, for now I am working on an alternative project. Expansions and new game creations may be considered for late next year, but for now I am working on a book instead... a gamebook! If you have ever read Fighting Fantasy or Choose Your Own Adventure style books, it is in this vein. I am about 25% complete now, doing all of the writing, book design, and art by myself. This will be my first truly solo project! Below are a few art pieces I have done thus far, with many more to come as time allows over the remainder of this year.
The books series title is called "Darker Paths" representing you taking on the role of a villain in a branching path narrative gamebook. Will share a bit more once I have another Questeros update for you!
And one last share... here is an active Kickstarter that could fit a niche in your game collection. Fast to setup, very portable, and some fun strategy within. The game is designed by Floyd Lu, he has produced several kickstarters and has a good track record. Art is by John De Campos, who did the Questeros art!

A quick update for you wonderful backers out there.
First off, almost all Non-US and Canada backers should have their games by now. If you do not yet have your game, please send an email to [email protected] so I can review your shipping details.
For US and Canada backers, the games are now at the fulfillment center, however there is a problem... the bonus cards and tokens were lost in transit (they arrived to the RoW backers, but the ones allocated to US/Can did not make it overseas). This causes a problem with delivery, as it is too expensive to ship the games out now and ship the bonus material out later.
We are working with the parties involved to resolve and find a way to get the bonus materials, however this may take some time (particularly if they items need to be manufactured and shipped again). Please be patient while we work through this, more information will be provided once the issue is resolved.
